Enjoying God
I have been enjoying intimacy with God so much lately! I’ve been pulled in to ecstasies with Him where I can barely keep myself held together. The depth and reality of His love overwhelms me and overtakes me.
Today Holy Spirit prompted me to eat at a cafe that I don’t usually go into. As I was eating I overheard the table across from me talking about someone in their family that was...

Pick one...
One morning, spontaneously, I decided it might be fun to pick a specific member of the Godhead to hang out with for the day.
“Who should it be…?” I thought. I’ll pick you Holy Spirit! So we started our day off laughing and joking. I would start to pray to Jesus and then say, “oops, sorry Holy, haha, I’m supposed to be talking to you today.”
We were...

I had this thought today:
The Bible is not a repair manual for broken humanity, but a love letter to the sons and daughters of God. Some of whom have forgotten that they are, and some of whom have discovered and embraced that, from the beginning of time they always have been.
In his (Christ’s) death he makes mankind’s peace with God before...

Morris Minor Miracle
So,
I’m leaving work for lunch today and I go to start my car. I try to start it and it won’t turn over. I tried it a couple more times and nothing happened. “Oh no, I left my lights on…”
Well, I didn’t have any time to jump start it or anything like that so I did the first thing that came to mind… I put my hand on the dashboard and say, “Father,...

Jesus loves me, this I know.
Man, I am so blessed.
Jesus gave me the opportunity to love people today, and it was awesome. I got the privelege of praying for somebody who has cancer plus the awesome blessing of getting to encourage and be encouraged by one of my best friends Mr. John Aho.
Life can be really challenging but His grace is all sufficient for me.

What is sin?
Sin is now a foreigner in our land. An outsider trying to get back in. It no longer holds power over us and we are under no obligation to let it back in. (Rom 6:6-7, 8:12) If I do what I do not want to do its no longer I (my true self as redeemed by Christ) who do it, but the sin living in me that does it (Rom. 7:20) — but, by sending Jesus as a sin offering, God condemned sin in sinful...

Romans 12:2 (in a new light)
NIV: Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Mirror Translation: Do not allow current religious tradition to mould you into its pattern of reasoning. Like an inspired artist, give attention to the detail of God’s desire to find expression in you....

The "B" Revelation
I’m begining to get that it’s not about me insomuch as there is nothing I have to DO in order for you to accept me or love me. This is your grace.
I am to BE. Just to Be myself in love with you. I am to just Be loved by you because I am the Beloved. It is impossible to be separated from you and your love, because it is impossible for you not to love your son Jesus, and I am in-grafted...

Humility: Thoughts and Paraphrases.
www.thepromise.cc 6/20/2010
True humility means embracing your exalted condition (Ephesians 2:6) — your true identity — then you will truly be released to be a servant of all.
True humility means you will never have to put yourself down or think low of yourself again…or think about yourself apart from Him.
Humility is a God-like quality that cannot be produced by human...

intimidation
I had this thought the other day:
I will not be intimidated. I will be encouraged.
The word intimidated has the word ‘timid’ in it. So I assume it means to be made timid. But the Word says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”
To encourage means to give, bring, or impart courage to someone. or “To...

Too good, yet true.
This life and hope we have should feel almost too good to be true, yet should manifest itself in everyday life. This is the kingdom of heaven on earth. No more pain or sorrow. Righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Where anything is possible for them who believe. This hope in which we now stand: Hope: the earnest expectation of good, in every aspect of life.
God is good. In him there...

A cry, a prayer.
Jesus. I just love you. I believe your good all the time. I want to see you break through in my life. I want to see you bust out into my world. I want to see your glory. I want to see consistent healing in people I pray for. I want more hunger for you. I want to see you intercede in lives of the people you love; the people in my life.
I want to see your Kingdom. I want to throw away personal...

So,
My friend Ryan and I were sitting at my computer watching a good video about what Jesus is doing nowadays, healing people in various awesome ways and whatnot…
Then a lady comes to the door taking the Census. Right away we notice that she uses a cane and walks with some difficulty.
My friend and I both agree that Jesus is going to love on her. We wait until the end of her questions,...

More miraculous healings happening. First, ben’s shoulder the other week…
So, ben got into a snowboarding accident the other week and his shoulder had been pretty messed up. Like a torn rotator cuff or something like that. Well the Lord healed him through prayer and hands being laid on him. You should have seen his face.

When you least expect it...
So,
My friend Ryan Taylor and I were talking this morning about what God is doing in our lives. We got to talking about how God was growing peoples legs out at this meeting that he usually goes to on Fridays.
Well, the Word says that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (Rev. 19:10) Whenever we share the tesimony of Jesus, it creates room for the same thing to happen again.

testimony: So, before the huge christmas service at the lodge, a friend, we’ll call him steve, was under hard attack by the enemy. I didn’t recognize the attack at first. I saw steve laying down on a couch in the hallway but I thought he was just resting. Then I heard from some others that he was really sick. Some of us agreed that we should go over and pray. We went and prayed and...

The Dove
There was a dove in the form of a Spirit, a Spirit in the form of a dove.
He came down ‘cause Dad sent him to rest on the Son, forever.

Would you rather have a song described to you, or hear the fullness of its sound?
Would you rather hold a picture of a sunrise, or stand in its awesome presence?
Would you be content with hearing old stories of how Jesus and his followers healed the sick, raised the dead, loved the poor, fed the masses, set the captives free and turned the world upside-down?

The God of all comfort
(2 Corinthians 1:3)
God really knows how to comfort His people. Just when your feeling faithless and bummed out.
So, I was worshiping Jesus in the shower, how I do, and I started getting excited about him. After I got out I really felt like calling my friend up on the phone to see how she was doing. I had heard the night before that she had a UTI (urinary tract infection) which she confirmed...

Just believe that God is good all the time...
So, God was good again today.
I felt like staying home from work today because I was feeling a little sick and tired. But I dragged myself out of bed and even managed to make myself a sandwich (my wife was proud).
I’m trying to just come back to simple faith and not over-analyze situations and people and how God might do a thing.
I’m thinkin’ just believe God is good all...
