Another day in the kingdom…
So,
My friend Ryan and I were sitting at my computer watching a good video about what Jesus is doing nowadays, healing people in various awesome ways and whatnot…
Then a lady comes to the door taking the Census. Right away we notice that she uses a cane and walks with some difficulty.
My friend and I both agree that Jesus is going to love on her. We wait until the end of her questions, and as she’s leaving we comment, “may I ask why you have to use that cane?”
“Oh, I’ve got bone on bone in my knees”
“Can we pray for you?, My friend and I have seen a lot of miracles and healings when we pray”
At this point she was trying to get out of the house but didn’t realize that the door had been locked from the inside. Deadbolt.
While wiggling the door handle, apprehensively she said, “sure, that would be ok”
So Ryan and I lay hands on her and pray for new squishy stuff in her knees and just love on this lady.
Her reaction was funny… when we asked her how her knees were she said, not expecting anything to be different “oh, there still my knees.” , “well, wait a second, my right one (the one that Ryan was laying his hands on) feels a little different.” But she had indicated that her left one was feeling just the same.
So Ryan asked if he could put his hands on that one. She agreed.
She tested out her knees again and admitted that they were moving
better than they had in a long time! She also asked Ryan, “Are your hands always that hot?”
Praise God! We can be used by Him. We are his kids… He loves to pour out on us.
We just expected him to do it. We just rested in our new identities and let His kingdom come, on earth as it is in heaven.
